Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives Stars in Icel

Icelandic girls fought for the attention of Penn Badgley from Gossip Girl and Shawn Pyfrom from Desperate Housewives when the American star actors went out on the town in Reykjavík last weekend.
While the friends shared a hamburger at the downtown diner Vegamót, female fans of the US television series crowded the place in hopes of getting to meet the actors, Frettabladid reports.

According to an employee, one girl burst out crying when she wasn’t allowed to have her picture taken with Badgley and Pyfrom.

Some fans went to great lengths to catch a glimpse of their heroes; a number of girls are said to have waited outside the nightclub Austur for three hours where Badgley and Pyfrom were partying.

“They were very polite and just seemed like regular guys having fun,” described Hallur Dan Johansen at Austur. Inside Austur the girls were so aggressive that the actors eventually had to escape out the backdoor.

Badgley has now left the country but Pyfrom is still in Iceland. He has reportedly taken a liking to the country and nation and decided to extend his stay.
