  Stokkseyri is a small town on the south coast of Iceland, the site of diverse bird-and plant life surrounding an unusual lake-district and on the beach, which is renowned for its beauty. 
  Stokkseyri is a fishing village but it is also famous for its coast, excellent for tide-pool exploration. 
  For bird lovers many marsh birds are seen here.
