Asatun Golf Course (Ásatúnsvöllur in Icelandic) is a 9 hole golf course wrapped in beautiful valley and ridge scenery. It is unique among Icelandic golf courses do to its diversity; it offers very short as well as long fairways, and its difficulty level ranges from easy to very challenging. Asatun Golf Course is known for its elevation difference between tees, fairways and greens; its highest play-level is 130 feet (40 meters) above lowest play-level. While playing, on sunny days, golfers have splendid view from various angles to surrounded mountains and agriculture areas. It takes approximately one hour driving from capital Reykjavík to Asatun Golf Course.
