The ice skating rink in Laugardalur is suited for ice-hockey and figure skating. The venue is indoor and is used for practice, competitions and the

general public. The sound system is quite unique. The reception offers a wide range of equipment that is needed for ice skating at a reasonable price. Overall there are six dressing rooms.

Big sport occasions such as the Scandinavian Cup have taken place in the rink over the last couple of years. In ice-hockey, the rink has hosted the World Championships for both women´s and men´s teams. Among competitions that take place every year in the rink is the figure skating part of the Reykjavík International Games.
