15/Set in central Ólafsfjördur, Joe's Guesthouse overlooks the Eyjafjördur Fjord. The house used to be the post office and has now been renovated into a guesthouse and a café. The guesthouse offers six rooms with modern décor and views of the surrounding mountains. All rooms feature wooden floors, have spacious closets, washbasins and bedside tables. Guests have access to shared bathroom facilities, as well as a common area with a fridge and electric kettle. There are two single rooms, three double/twin rooms and one family room with beds for four.

Downstairs is Café Klara where breakfast is served and guests can enjoy an on-site café serving homemade cakes and bread, sandwiches, ice cream, snacks, soup and light meals. All food served is made at the coffeehouse.  Free wi-fi is in the house. 

The swimming pool is 5 minutes away,the supermarket, bank and post office just around the corner, two art galleries and a museum of natural history are found next door. Hiking trails are found close by. On-pier fishing is just 3 minutes’ walk away and Akureyri Airport is a 1-hour drive from the guesthouse.
